PROBLEM

ORIGIN

Attackers  are  able  to  exploit  SQL injection  techniques  to outdated  websites  running  PHP  used  by  officials.

Vulnerabilities  in  web  applications  allowed  them unauthorized  access to  sensitive  data, such  as passwords, credit  card  details,  or  personal  user  information  including hashed/salted  passwords  which  they  then  decrypted  and

used  as  credentials  to  infiltrate  more  secure  systems  of  the government.  Once infiltrated  malicious code  and  ransomware is  deployed  to  the  networks  and  spread  to  connected systems.

SOLUTION
